Out of the way place with old time dive feel. Great fish and fries. Not my kinda slaw with vinegar base. Very cold beer with large selection. Would highly recommend. Large crowd already at 5pm on a Friday. Only caution would be the fish breading has pepper in it and I know some people just don’t like pepper.

The food was amazing we had the fish platter. The placed needed to be cleaned bad. The floors were filthy, the restrooms bad and dust thick on the jukebox and walls you could write you name in it. Don't want to see the kitchen because the food was great and I wouldn't have tried it otherwise

Best fish dinner in Louisville! Easy in and easy out, free refills and many TV’s to view your favorite game! There is a pool table in the back. This is your neighborhood family diner. Dress casual- no dress code, come as you are!! Cash only, ATM inside!

My friend and I stopped in for an early dinner Saturday February 21st. My first time at Passtime and it was definitely worth it. I had the catfish fillet sandwich(huge) and she had the cod fish platter. The catfish wad cooked well as it supposed to be and piping hot. No bones! The fries were good n hot, too much salt. She had the coleslaw and liked it. It's a hole in the wall joint and I absolutely loved it. Our waitress was very sweet. Definitely will return in the near future.

Recently watched the review of this restaurant on GoodallsCountryKitchen youtube channel. He was spot on about this place. The restaurant is hidden back off waterson trail. This is a place to visit and kick back enjoy great fish and have a beer if you drink. The place is cash only. There is an atm inside if you don't have cash. I got the fish platter. Fish was hot and seasoned perfectly. French fries were seasoned and had great taste. It was very busy. Service was a bit slow due to how busy it was. It has the tavern look inside. They tape $1 bills to the walls everywhere inside. Definitely worth stopping in for some good fried fish.

I found this spot and I do mean found cause even when the map told me to turn I couldn't see it. My husband and I had the cat fish and OMG!!!!! I wanted some more but didn't want to use my gas to go so I ordered from a different restaurant. That was useless cause it wasn't on point like here! I'll use the gas any day to get to this spot cause the cat fish was soooooooooooooooooooooooo delicious

This. Place. RULES! As you enter the mud/gravel parking lot and see the unassuming building, you might ask yourself "Should I really be eating here?" The answer is YES, a thousand times. It's much better and much more affordable than that other popular place you probably hear about. Eat at Passtime. Every time. The food is perfect. The service is perfect. The wait for food can run a little long. I want to say we waiting about 15 minutes after ordering. But for hot, fresh, perfect food, it's worth the wait. The atmosphere is awesome. I love a place like this. I can't say enough good about it.

Went just before the dinner. The place was packed in a matter of minutes. I ordered cheese sticks that were typical bar food. We ordered two fish dinners. Fish and fries were good and the fish was a huge piece. I didn’t care for the potato salad and my husband said the coke slaw wasn’t good. That being said they are tiny portions anyway. I did enjoy the fish and fries but may be just a tad expensive. I would go back if I were in the area for fish and fries.
